Our camper set up in a British Columbia forest with the awning out and chairs ready
A family-run rental · British Columbia, Canada

From our family to yours.

We're the Stepanovs — a BC family who loves the outdoors and wants to share it. Our cozy camper sleeps 6–7 and tows easy. We rent to families like ours, and many of the people we meet this way become friends.

Our happy place — camped among the BC pines
Meet the Stepanovs

We're a BC family who loves to camp.

It's the three of us — my wife, our daughter, and me. Some of our happiest weekends are spent by a lake somewhere in British Columbia, kettle on, no rush to be anywhere.

We bought this camper for our own family trips, and now we'd love to share it. We're not a faceless rental company — we genuinely care who takes it out. We're looking for families who are on the same wavelength: kind, easygoing, here for the outdoors and the simple stuff.

Honestly, the best part has been meeting people we click with. More than a few renters have turned into the kind of friends you plan trips with. If that sounds like you, we'd love to say hi.

This is an estimate, not a final charge. Once you send your request, we'll confirm availability and reply with your final quote. A refundable $1,500 security deposit applies.

How booking works

We confirm every booking in person

To keep things comfortable and transparent, we meet at the trailer near Coquitlam Centre before your trip. You see the camper in person, we walk through how everything works, sign the Rental Agreement together, and settle the rental + refundable deposit at the meeting — e-transfer, cash, or split, whatever's easiest. Once that's done, your dates are locked in.

We're flexible on timing — we both work from home, so almost anytime works. Just tell us when you'd like to come by and say hi.

One small note: we can't host pets in the camper — there's a strong allergy in our family. We're sorry, and we hope you understand.

Easy & friendly

How it works

We do this the personal way — because it's our family's camper, and it matters to us who takes it out.

1

Pick your dates

Choose your nights and any extras for an instant estimate, then send your request with a few words about your crew.

2

We say hi

We get back to you, answer any questions, and confirm the dates are open. We like getting to know the families who'll be staying in our camper.

3

Meet at the camper

Come by our place near Coquitlam Centre, where the trailer is kept. We meet in person, you look it over, we walk you through everything, sign the Rental Agreement, and you leave the deposit. That's when your booking is confirmed.

4

Pack & go

Pick up on your start date, hit the road, and we're just a message away the whole trip.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Can I bring a pet?
We're so sorry, but we can't allow pets in the camper — no dogs or other animals. There's a strong allergy in our family to every breed, even the little Shih Tzu we have at home (and she gets a bath every single week just to keep things bearable). We genuinely love animals — it honestly breaks our hearts to say no — but we have to keep the trailer allergen-free so it's safe and comfortable for every family who stays. Thank you so much for understanding. 🙏
Can I tow it with my vehicle?
The Apex Nano is light (about 4,050 lb dry, 6,000 lb max). Most mid-size SUVs and half-ton trucks tow it comfortably. Not sure? Tell us your vehicle and we'll confirm. We also offer door-to-door delivery if you'd rather not tow.
What's the deposit and what's refundable?
A refundable $1,500 security deposit is held for the trip and returned after a clean return inspection. The nightly price and any extras are separate.
Is there a minimum number of nights?
It depends on the season — usually 2 nights in spring/fall and 3 nights in peak summer and on long weekends. The calculator will tell you if your dates need an extra night.
Is it insured?
Yes — full ICBC commercial coverage with $1M third-party liability. You're properly covered for the road.
What if I return late?
Return is 10–11 AM. A late fee of $30/hour applies, and 3+ hours late counts as an extra day. Need a later return? Just ask — we can often arrange it.
